Myope depuis aussi longtemps que je sais lire ( Vers 4 ans), j'ai porté d'horribles verres jusqu'à mes 17 ans.... calvaire, complexes..
Puis, lentilles, magnifique, la vie était belle...

Et re-lunettes, je n'ai plus assez de larmes, même les rigides que j'ai portées 15 ans ne sont plus possibles.
J'entends à nouveau des remarques débiles du genre " femme à lunettes, femme à quéqu****", ....mais je ne complexe plus ! Enfin, dès que je vois un appareil photo, je me dépêche d'ôter mes binocles; mais dans la vie, je les assume, même si j'estime que cela gâche mon regard ( seule chose à peu près regardable chez moi...)
Mon homme dit que j'ai de la chance, les lunettes c'est mode... Je trouve que ça reste une PROTHESE !!!

It has been far too long but we are hoping to make it up with some things in pipeline for the coming months, exclusive for you.

Before going to far- if you have not heard we have had some very sad news.

Mark Hathaway, who started the FF:FC and continued to run it for the last 7 years, has passed away.
Aptly the first thing that we have to send out to you is: Fan Club Magazine #6: FF in North America
This was the first magazine to be produced that Mark was unable to work on due to his illness. Kris Heading from the US branch of the club wrote a great thank you to him at the start. It was written before we got this sad news, but think that it sums up how grateful that we are to him for the FF:FC.

Big thanks to all of you that submited pictures and writings for this NA issue.

As with the previous mags we seems to have piles and piles of them kicking around and being more and more conscious of the environment; digital books seemed to be the best solution- as well as the bonus of making it instantaniously available to everyone.

Everything is in a bit of limbo with the FF:FC pages at the minute but we will soon have a new FF:FC section you can login into from http://www.franzferdinand.co.uk/ where you can download all previous magazines in the new digital format.

The next Fan Club Magazine #7: FF in Japan to come before too long too.

We will send you the link as and when we have that completed.

Coming in the Autumn- Fan Club Magazine #8: FF in South America (With an exclusive preview of a tour video made from footage taken by the band, crew, and the fan clubs.)
